Incoming Data

When configuring your Incoming Data options, if you select the Newsletter option, a selected newsletter or series of newsletters (drip campaign) will be sent to that lead. These series are easily configured in the dashboard under the Mailing Templates section.

It is possible to export both your incoming sources and outgoing campaigns. Under the Inventory section in the Software you are able to set parameters for your data to search and export your results.

There is no limit to the number of vendors you can set up in the Waypoint Software.

You are able to create a source group and designated multiple sources to it so that they can share information.

The authentication key for your source will be automatically generated once you have completed creating the campaign, and will be added to the source list.

Dupe checks are able to be set up by editing a source, or when you first create one. They have a 1-12 month time from for checking, and also have a variety of fields that you can dupe check from, such as first name, last name, email, phone, address, city, state, zip, or date of birth.

The posting documents for your source are located on the right side of the source under the View Instructions radio button. Clicking this button will load the posting documents in a new browser.

You are able to validate your incoming leads through Waypoint’s Validation Software, or through a variety of external validation platforms by editing your source and selecting the validation type you desire from the drop down list.

In the Validation URL post the ftp of where the data will be sending to, and in the Validation API key field post the Username and Password of the validation’s FTP separated by a comma: Username,Password. Finally, select the Validation Field between email or phone and save your source.

Leads that are now posted into the source will be sent by FTP to the validation platform and posted back into your instance with the validated information.
