We make it easy to create email campaigns with customizable templates. Just pop in your offers, add text and picture, link or ads and send to your mailing list. We currently do not offer mailing IP’s but you can connect Waypoint to a remote SMTP relay to deliver the email.

You can ban IP addresses using the Administrator’s Dashboard by either importing a list or adding one in the interface.

Your data is also backed up incrementally to a secure drop box for disaster recovery and minimal data loss in the rare event of a server failure or network outage.

Incoming Data (8)

When configuring your Incoming Data options, if you select the Newsletter option, a selected newsletter or series of newsletters (drip campaign) will be sent to that lead. These series are easily configured in the dashboard under the Mailing Templates section.

It is possible to export both your incoming sources and outgoing campaigns. Under the Inventory section in the Software you are able to set parameters for your data to search and export your results.

The posting documents for your source are located on the right side of the source under the View Instructions radio button. Clicking this button will load the posting documents in a new browser.

You are able to create a source group and designated multiple sources to it so that they can share information.

The authentication key for your source will be automatically generated once you have completed creating the campaign, and will be added to the source list.

Dupe checks are able to be set up by editing a source, or when you first create one. They have a 1-12 month time from for checking, and also have a variety of fields that you can dupe check from, such as first name, last name, email, phone, address, city, state, zip, or date of birth.

You are able to validate your incoming leads through Waypoint’s Validation Software, or through a variety of external validation platforms by editing your source and selecting the validation type you desire from the drop down list.

In the Validation URL post the ftp of where the data will be sending to, and in the Validation API key field post the Username and Password of the validation’s FTP separated by a comma: Username,Password. Finally, select the Validation Field between email or phone and save your source.

Leads that are now posted into the source will be sent by FTP to the validation platform and posted back into your instance with the validated information.

Your clients are only allowed to access the campaigns that you have individually assigned to them. Through their client portal they will not be able to view any campaign that is not assigned to them, or export any data associated with campaigns they do not have access to. Additionally, you are able to add a campaign to a client so they may view it, but disable the exportation of data from the campaign.

On the Clients Page you will see a list of client usernames, first and last names, and the permissions they have access to. For each username you are able to set the permissions to the campaigns they can access from their client portal. The client will not be able to see any information from campaigns he does not have access too.

When setting up a campaign you can edit the source mix for the campaign and click on which sources you would like your campaign to draw data from. Alternatively, you can have your campaigns draw from all available sources by clicking the draw form all sources button.

Setting up the parameters for the Data Mapping is extremely easy. You simply enter a parameter name and then map it to a specified field.

You may also map to a static value set to your standards. Simply input the parameter name, set the Map to Field to Static Value, and input the static value to the right.

Additionally, you may click the cloud button and paste a Posturl into the cloud and it will automatically insert the data mapping based on the Posturl. datacloud

To set up your campaign to FTP data out you will first need to select FTP as the delivery method. Once you’ve done this you simply input the destination, username and password of the FTP you’re sending. This will complete the setup for the FTP portion of your campaign once you’ve hit save.

Make sure to test that the API KEY given by MailChimp is valid before setting up campaign mappings in Waypoint

Once you have created your campaign in Waypoint copy the full string (Correct String Above) with your active MailChimp API Key and ID and paste it into the Simple PostURL mapping feature which will create all the data mappings for you automatically.

Inventory (2)

In order to eliminate duplicates from your inventory search you can simply select either Email or Phone from the Unique By section before inventorying. This will allow for any duplicate emails or phones to be filtered out.

You are able to view your legacy data by accessing the Inventory tab of the software.

From here you can perform a search based on date ranges and select the sources or source groups you wish to receive the data from as well as set the parameters for the search.

Enter a row limit to determine the number of records that will be gathered and hit search to begin your search.

Once the leads you have searched for are displayed you can either export the data to a .csv file by clicking the Export All button located at the top left, or you can assign the leads to a campaign by selecting the desired campaign from the drop down list located at the bottom left and clicking the Assign All button.
