We’re happy to say that we’ve fully integrated posting to and receiving data from Zapier! Follow the simple instructions below to start triggering your Zap’s.
To have Waypoint post to Zapier, first create a new Zap within Zapier. Simply utilize one of their Built-In Apps called “Webhooks”.
From here, select the “Catch Hook” option. Continue through and you’ll receive a custom webhook URL that’s specific to this Zap. This webhook URL will look something like:
This webhook URL will be the Destination field inside your Waypoint Software campaign to post to this webhook.
You can post to Zapier in either an HTTPGET or HTTPPOST method utilizing this URL, if you choose to utilize HTTPGET simply just map the parameter’s you’d like to pass to this Zap in the data mapping section, and you’re all set!
Please note that fields will show up as “Querystring___<fieldname>” inside Zapier if you’re utilizing HTTPGET method. For example, “”Querystring___email”. If you’d like to just have the field be “email” you’ll need to utilize an HTTPPOST request with JSON formatted in the payload section.
If you’re utilizing HTTPPOST, map the parameter’s you’d like to pass in the data mapping section, and format the JSON in the payload section.

To have your Zapier account post to your Waypoint Software instance, simply utilize their Built-IN Apps: Webhooks.
To set up the webhook, insert your instance’s destination inside the URL utilizing the “webhooks” capture queue. Make sure to include the xAuthentication value of the source inside Waypoint Software that you’ll be posting to. For example:
Select the Payload Type as JSON, and map the data fields you’d like to pass.
You’re finished, congrats! Now whenever a Zap comes through a webhook will auto-trigger and populate the lead inside the designed source inside your Waypoint Software instance.
